Bigamy is a crime of marrying while one has a wife or husband still living, from whom no valid divorce has been effected. Luckily it is considered against the law in the UK and is a crime. It is wrong and even if the wife agrees to her husband remarrying someone else without having a divorce then they can be sentenced to a minimum of 3years.
As I was researching for a link I came across an article where a man who is aged 71 had 14 wives and never did he legally divorce any one of his wives. This covers deceit, unfaithfulness, and betrayal and isn’t this similar to what we studied in the infidelity lecture?
I don’t personally think anyone could live their lives as being the second best in their marriage.
Isn’t marriage meant to be about equality and why commit to ‘vows’ when a mockery is made out of them!
