Questionnaire.

Age? 23.

Sex? Female.

What is your degree subject (both if joint)? English.

Does ‘Being Bad’ relate well to the other modules you are taking? Yes, because it is different to what I am currently studying. It allows you to interact more with discussions and do online research.

Have you found ‘Being Bad’ too demanding, too easy, or at an appropriate level? I have found Being Bad on an appropriate level.

Do you think the list of topics covered on the module was appropriate? Yes, the topics studied were good.

Are there any topics not included in the module that you would like to see included? I would like to see other topics like alcohol and current affairs in the module.

Do you think that the format for classes has worked well? I think the module started a little late because people who have lessons at 10am begin to feel tired and miss out on this lecture in the evening.

What did you think of the module team? The module team are fab!

The approach taken in the module is interdisciplinary (drawing on perspectives from English Literature, Film Studies, Creative Writing, Philosophy, Media Studies and Politics): do you think this a useful way of approaching the topics covered in the module? I think everything was fine as in the discussions and debating because people contributed to most sessions.

Do you think that interdisciplinary modules are a good idea? Yes, the interdisciplinary idea was really good.

Do you think you have benefited from the interdisciplinary approach taken in the module? I feel as though I have benefited with the interdisciplinary sessions because it is different and you learn new things as you go along to the sessions.

Would you like to see more modules that cover this kind of subject matter? Yes, definitely. I’d like to see more modules like this subject matter.

Are you planning to take the follow-up module PH2004 ‘It Shouldn’t Be Allowed’ at level 2? Yes, I am definitely thinking of taking PH2004 in Level 2.

Would you recommend ‘Being Bad’ to a friend? I would recommend Being Bad to a friend.

Do you think that the blogs (web logs) were a good idea? Yes, the blogs were a good idea but it begins to get a little repetitive so it becomes a little boring.

What did you think of the other assessments (e.g. would it be better to have one longer assessment rather than two shorter ones?) I thought the assessment were fine as they were, however it did get a little confusing so they should be clarified.

What have you learned from the module? I have learnt that you should think about behaviour and what is the reason behind why people begin to behave badly. You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.

What parts of the module have you found most useful and why? I have found everything useful because it was a mind opener. Sessions and lectures made me think how you should keep an open mind rather than judge instantly.

Are there any other comments you wish to make regarding ‘Being Bad’? I really enjoyed this module and it is something which makes you alert and aware with behaviour amongst youths nowadays.
